We are pleased to offer an exciting half-day program for Harborfields & Huntington kindergarten students!
We focus on social and emotional learning through our curriculum, which is uniquely developed from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Mindfulness principles.
Each child’s individuality is celebrated as we collaborate together as a class and focus on morals and values promoting mindful awareness of ourselves and others.
Academics are enhanced following the current Primary School kindergarten curriculum by using a multi sensory, child directed approach.
We encourage dialogue with our popular “optional comment” time and vocabulary word wall to promote individual expression.
We have an open door policy and welcome family participation that fits each family’s needs, with events held in the evening to accommodate working parents.
Class size is a maximum of 16, and transportation by school bus is provided to or from Washington Drive and Flower Hill Primary Schools.
Huge playground in a natural outdoor setting.
Diane Young and Nicole Hayes are experienced teachers in both general and special education. Diane is a mother of school-aged children and both are active throughout the Huntington Community. They teach both morning and afternoon classes and absolutely love what they do!
